Frequently Asked Questions

  • The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, what’s been challenging, and what you hope to get out of therapy. You don’t need to have it all figured out — just showing up is a meaningful start. You’re welcome to share at your own pace.

  • Yes. I currently accept the following insurance plans:

    • United Healthcare

    • Optum

    • Aetna

    • TRICARE West

If you’re covered by one of these, I’ll confirm your benefits before we begin and handle billing on your behalf.

If you’re paying out of pocket (self-pay), I can provide a monthly superbill — an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many PPO plans offer partial coverage for therapy. I recommend calling your insurance provider to ask about out-of-network mental health coverage.
